Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ !

We are building the Sanctuary of Christ’s Blood. It is just amazing how quickly things change from week to week. Up till now we have been able to finish the bulding’s ground floor and make a concrete slab floor in the place where the organ gallery is going to be placed. Moreover, the elements of clumns supporting the vault of the rof were made. The bulding will be to the honour and glory of God, but it is also a tribute and testimony to the faith of this community. We are grateful to God for sincere paticipation in the bulding work and support giren by the faithful and pilgrims from our country and abrad.

We pray for all our benefactors, donors and all these who invest their time, knwledge, work and treasure in our Sanctuary. We want toexpress our thanks for their kindness and generosity. We pray for evry donor at a Mess evry day and evry third Sanday of the month at 4 pm at the Masswith Holy Relics blessing. As a custodian of the sanctuary, I proposed the solution of commemorating the names of donors on tablets which will be made of marble and placed in the bottom part of the church to show the amount of their effort put into the construction of the sanctuary. The financial standing of the Poles is getting worse, however. Therefore, we turnto you, dear brothers and sisters, to help us in this enormous task. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can send to our community. Thanks to yuo our dream can become a reality. Help us to fulfill the dream.

Why Devotion to the Precious Blood today?

1. Through the Blood of His Cross (Col 1:20)

It is a pity that the sign of the cross, the sign of shameful execution of criminals condemned to death lost its original meaning. The cross does not shock us because it became an ornament and the sign of honour... To restore the original power to this sign of victory it is worth remembering that it is not the wood of the cross that is the source of salvation for us but the Blood of Christ:

Realize that
you were delivered
from the futile way of life
your fathers handed on to you,
not by any diminishable sum
of silver or gold,
but by CHRIST'S BLOOD
beyond all price:
the Blood of a spotless,
unblemished lamb

1 Peter 1:18-19

2. The Blood of Christ and the Eucharist

Lord Jesus Christ gave us His Body and Blood under the sign of bread and vine during the Last Supper. For practical reasons and because of the fight against heresies, receiving the Blood of Christ from the chalice was reserved for priests. After the II Vatican Council and its liturgical reforms the reception of the Eucharist under both species was encouraged. But the reception of the Precious Blood is still seldom practiced because the value of this sign for the development of the Church and for Christian spiritual life is not understood and esteemed enough. Is it not proper that a community and a catholic movement were founded that seek more balance between liturgical signs?

3. The Precious Blood in service of evangelization

Devotion to the Precious Blood is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ because the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is a centre of the Scriptures. Evangelization means first of all to involve people into Paschal Mystery. It is important not just to understand what happened on Calvary and what is going on in the liturgy of the Church - one should learn how to die and rise from death spiritually together with Jesus. This is the aim of a genuine devotion to the Blood of our Redeemer.

Spirituality of the Precious Blood is rooted in the Blood of Jesus that is poured out from physical and spiritual wounds of mankind. Genuine meditation and prayer to the Blood of Christ leads us not only to the Holy Land where Jesus lived, died and rose from death. This prayer may become a spiritual way for people today - a way to salvation, to Christian freedom, physical and spiritual health, to reconciliation and peace.

Evey III Sanday. 14.30 p.m.the Way of the Precious Blood -  procession with the chaplets of the Seven Bloodsheddings

16.00 p.m.- Eucharist and the individual Benediction of the relic of the Precious Blood

4. EVERY YEAR

a) Feast of Mother of the Precious Blood (celebrated May 24 or on Sunday near this feast)

b) Feast of the Precious Blood (July 1, celebrated on the first Sunday of July)

c) Youth and Children Festivals (last decade of June and July)
